Gundam has actually had several awesome atmosphere reentry battles but Mika air surfing that enemy mobile suit is one of my all time favorite moments in the franchise

We dont know yet what the system of the Gundams have inside but it can be from a digitized mind to an AI that supported humanity during the calamity. Urdr Hunt shows the Gundam frame actively taking control away from its pilot to keep it safe. Hajiroboshi being its pet name, though during the war it was Marchosias taking down 150m MAs like nothing.
