The thing I really love about this show is that Violet herself isn’t telling these stories. Although she types the letters, the people she helps tell us about who she was and how she helped them move forward. Great storytelling forsure.

Violet Evergarden as a whole had me feeling so many emotions. This episode in particular with the challenges that all the subjects have to overcome brought out a lot of positive emotions (grief and sadness can be positive if properly processed) and helped me move past some personal issues regarding loss.

Really love the songs and background music of this Ep. This Ep got me tear up too.
Ilma has complex feelings, knowing Hugo probably couldn’t make it back but still doesn’t want to give up on waiting. Telling others about these feelings seems like admitting the truth that Hugo is forever gone. I guess that’s why she didn’t want to talk to Aldo and Violet about Hugo at the beginning.

I definitely teared up the first time I watched this. Felt my tear ducts revving up when Ilma opened up and and broke when Santa brought Violet to the storehouse. Also Violet standing in the corner when she was lost has to been one of the cutest things ive seen.
