The part where Charlotte takes Alberta’s hand and places it on her forehead always makes me tear up. That is a big sign of respect in many cultures. I make sure to do that every time I see my Filipino grandmother.

It's odd how she goes from not knowing if her letters are good enough to writing beautiful love letters without context of the OVA. In the OVA, Violet spends many days reading romance novels from various ages and writes many drafts of love letters for Ilma which results in the letters we see in Ep 5.
