It wasn't an emperor spell but because of Rudy's chantles spells, he is able to modify spells and so the way he did so for the stone cannon made it reach the emperor level in raw power. It has been years now so I can't remember if badigadi or Rudy said this but I believe it was badi.

EDIT: You know what? I don’t even want to bother with this. I’m a full-time student AND a full-time working adult, and I don’t have the energy to deal with people lile you. I’m just deleting my comment to avoid dealing with anything else from you. But since I spent all this time writing up a defense for myself, I’m leaving it here. How exactly is this a spoiler though? Spoiler, definition: a description of an important plot development in a television show, movie, or book which if previously known may reduce surprise or suspense for a first-time viewer or reader The anime has already told us that Elinalise has a curse; that “important development” has already taken place. The light novel only described her curse the one time, when they arrived at the university. The anime did not describe the curse appropriately - in fact, there are SEVERAL details regarding her curse that even I have omitted on the chance that they do get brought up again, and also because they are extremely weird to describe. So even MY comment is lacking in information and is JUST the bare bones of her curse. If this were Elinalise getting introduced in S1, and I said all of this, then yes, 100% it would be a spoiler, because us learning of her curse hadn’t taken place yet. But I do not believe it is a spoiler here. We’ve already been given this information, and I’m just trying to clear up the bare bones details of it that the anime did not explain whatsoever, and clearly will not be explaining because again, the LN’s only explained it the one time. I don’t know if you’re anime-only or not, but I literally only picked up the LN’s to see if there were any extra details of Elinalise’s curse, which there were: at least a whole PAGE of details explaining it to us. And then I kept reading from there, which is why I know it doesn’t get mentioned again. Right now, these kinds of details would be spoilers: [character] is going to die! [character] turns out to be evil! [character] reappears after a decade of never being seen! ^^^ THIS sort of thing would be a spoiler. And FYI, none of this is in relation to this series; these are just generalized examples because again, if I put ACTUAL examples from this series, then it WOULD be spoiling stuff. Lastly, regarding the “bit of dialogue” at the end of my comment: AGAIN, that isn’t a spoiler. That’s just a difference in writing between the anime and the LN for a scene that’s already happened. Me bringing it up is literally the same as me saying “Hey, there’s a difference in translation between the English Sub and the English Dub that I think you’d find interesting!” At the end of the day, I really seriously don’t think I’ve spoiled anything here. I understand that the information is currently “light novel only”, but as I feel I’ve already explained, it really should not be LN only in the first place. Reactors are clearly confused and think there are plot holes involved with Elinalise’s character when in truth, the anime just did not explain her situation whatsoever. There aren’t any plot holes (that I’ve found), just a lack of information. If Joe himself tells me otherwise about this being a spoiler, then I’ll delete my comment, apologize, and be more mindful going forwards.

The Badi fight would have been much better if they show his top-half is completely gone (as stated in the novel) and to explain the concept of immortal demon king of this world at the same time. A bit too rush, I thought the show would CLIFF-hanger us at the point where Badi hears Orsted's name or sthing like that.

This did seem a bit rushed- this episode could easily have been 2 seperate episodes and cover a bit more detail, build a bit more suspense etc

Okay , this makes so much more sense... cause I was like there is no way that's Rudys most powerful spell , one of them sure, but like there is that huge purple ball he shot at Orsted too .. so him requesting the same spell he damaged Orsted with makes sense

As you can see, Badigadi has Ressurrective Immortality (respawning makes you into a manlet basically. This is also why Kishirika looks like a loli, cuz her brainlet ass keeps killing herself accidentally all the time, so she keeps staying as a loli so fucking often (last time she managed to stay as an adult long enough was back in the war days, we saw a statue of her in that 1 Demon fortress in like Episode 3 or w/e, where she looked pretty stacked actually, although her head was kinda missing (guess it got BTFO when Humans boogaloo'd at the fort or sumthin?)), as do all members of the Immortal Demon clan, one of the least populous racial sub-types of Demons

Just want to say 1 thing, it wasn't THAT clearly visible in the anime - Badigadi's whole upper half was blown off right after Rudeus' attack. It took a bit before he even went back to the chibi form from his upper half just completely missing. Also, 2nd part of my comment will be LN context, but 0 spoilers. I think the reason why Badi offered Rudeus to try the 1 attack, was because in the novels after hearing the title Dragon God, he immediately asks Rudy if he managed to hurt him even a little. Rudeus answers with the fact that he scratched his hand and Badi said he wants Rudy to use exactly the spell that scratched Orsted to test it for himself.

Elinalise still has the curse, she still needs to get action all the time but she can stick to just one guy. Thing is, most mere mortals cant keep up with her drive. That's why she said she's going to "try" and keep her urges in check, and devote herself only to cliff.

Im kinda disappointed by this scene as there was nowhere near the tension I was expecting for this as they skipped his introduction and his build up. They also underplayed rudys first spell at emperor level as well as how scared Rudy actually was and finally badi's freak out when he saw the strength of the spell. I still really enjoyed it and still had the jitters after it but I feel that came from reading the novel. I just hope they can convey the proper emotions next episode...

(IM ANIME ONLY) Yes, cliff is a special student , so is Rudeus and the gang idk if you forgot what it means or you know , but forgot that Cliff was one of them As Bob said here before , I too think he killed Badi and he came back , because when he got up and said "I'm back" he used the word "fukkatsu" which means "I revived/ came back to life" ALSO back in episode 12 Kishirika herself mentioned that she was revived 300 years ago , when Rudy first met her and gave her food , but then Rudy saw a statue of her in that cave or whatever that was an adult version of Kishirika with big boobas and shit... Sooo maybe same thing with her ?
