The last episode was a disaster. They crammed an entire volume into one episode and removed the important stuff to focus on cringe. Some stuff that was removed: Ratatoskr has space lasers to kill Shido if he goes out of control. Kotori almost went ahead with it. Someone else from Ratatoskr actually did and Shido gets saved by phantom. Shido in his dazed state also namedrops Mio to Mana which makes her head hurt as they don't have memories of that name. Something that could have been excellent to lead into season 4 was Kurumi destroying a DEM base on an island where they were keeping a certain something.
