i agree that the LN handled that better, but Anime is a Visuell Medium. I guess if they just left it as in the Novels, a lot of People would have thought that the sex cured Rudy instead of not getting Abandoned again. So they probably changed it too avoid Confusion

The second season rekindled my interest and even made me start reading the novels. But I still really wish the author made rudy be with just one of the girls, or at least not with roxy.

So from a viewers perspective it that throws into perspective the value and rarity of the aphrodisiac. 100 gold coins would equal over 4 years worth of a princesses spending money....

It should be removed if there's no significance but just removing it to spite part of the fanbase seems really bad, you shouldn't think that way.

That was a very important detail from the eris moment he had that scar'd him. That's why he was scared when it came to intimate moments since he would imagine them leaving him the same manner eris had. That was huge detail they shouldn't have changed.

But I think if it's not really relevant to the story telling, or if it just serves to feed the horny viewers of the show, I don't really mind skipping or censoring. E.D. and dick jokes aside, I think this was a pretty solid arc overall. I'm sure some people weren't a fan of this arc, as well as outright just hate Sylphy for some reason, but I really enjoyed this cour still. Can't wait for the 2nd part to get released.

2023-09-24 19:21:21 +0000 UTCThe reason rudy was so....down when he woke up after being with silphy is if you remember. He woke up after being with Eris and she was gone. It kind of mirrored that. However in the LN and manga he woke up and she was still lying beside him. She was still there. Not being abandoned is what cured him.

Usually, E.D. has two root causes, either it's a physical ailment or a mental one... in Rudy's case it was the latter. That scene after he and Sylphy had spent the night, it brought upon the same trauma he had with Eris, about being left alone after being intimate together. But when Sylphy came back and assured him that she wasn't going anywhere, that "mental block" was finally broken.

He waking up to find out she's gone , so he thought the same thing happened, but then she came back and he was relieved
