Slaves as we can see from the dad dude or w/e, are basically COLLECTIBLES to them (he talked something about his Pirate Captain collection when that 1 pirate got BTFO in the Celestial Dragon intro episode), or entertainment stuff (so like said by Boa, feeding the slaves DFs for the lulz, just to make the entertainment more interesting. I assume they enjoyed watching Boa turn some random mooks to stone for lulz, hence why they gave that specific DF to her, because of her high tier looks guaranteed to get the effect it works under or w/e)

Can't believe how far the Oda lore hole goes, since he hinted at shit like Haki in Skypeia arc, and only now are the fruits finally being revealed slowly about Haki etc

I had consumed 1000's of anime/manga/manhua/manhwa/novels there rarely any series where MC is my fav and one piece is one of those luffy is my Fav he know when to say the right thing and do the right stuff

The world Nobles who can do whatever they want and get away with it? The same people who would take a random person on the street, decide you want them as your wife, and then shoot their fiance without any remorse? Ones who would buy a mermaid to feed her to piranhas for entertainment. What our girls went through for years had to be the worst things imaginable.
