The RA Volume IV: The Warrior's Tale
Added 2023-11-02 03:22:45 +0000 UTCMore RA IV for you. Kind of. I want to be up front with everybody that this is not your typical Ice Bear story. It's not really even erotica. (You might squeeze a drop or two out of it, but for the most part.) This one comes with legit trigger warnings for sexual violence, self-harm, and suicidal urges.
That said... this is a thing I wrote. I personally like it, but it won't be for everybody. This chapter of The RA IV follows Amy, one of the few sophomores on Higgins 3 and sort of a wallflower heretofore. Suffice to say that Amy is dealing with some shit. This is only a spoiler for the first page or so, but she winds up with a really, really terrible guy who is really, really terrible to her. It's a story about struggles and hardships and coping mechanisms both healthy and self-destructive. It's also a great look at some of our Hotties from the inside, how they interact with trauma and companionship. It's humanizing and horrifying and hopefully ultimately a little satisfying.
If it doesn't sound like your cup of tea, I'd say give it a go and see, but no worries if it's not for you. You won't miss anything plot crucial with a skip here except from the basic notion already spelled out here that Amy's life is hard. I promise, the rest of RA4 is more in line with what you saw in Shauna's and Toni's stories, good old smut with the occasional feels. For tonight though, here's Amy, and I hope reading this does for you at least a little of what writing it did for me.

2023-12-15 17:34:28 +0000 UTCHad some issues with Patreon last month and then I got busy, but I can finally check the revised version of Amy's tale. It makes me so happy my feedback made it in. Shauna's story got me the same high I got from reading Creeps, but this is the one that made me appreciate your character work the most and the Volume as something that was absolutely needed.

I am such a clod with the artistic end of things and believe it or not that cover was the result of over 2 hours of fucking around. And yes, we can definitely do a consolidated version when all is said and done. The main reason I didn't in the first place is just that these stories collectively are SO much bigger than the preceding volumes. Thanks for catching it so fast - gives me something to work on tomorrow. :)
