p.s. not meaning to spoil or anything, so if I have I apologize and i was just giving you a breakdown of how I understood the later chapters of MHA. As for some characters being 'too good,' there's a thing with autistic people where many of them have strong morality and believe that things are good or bad, and I feel like they would understand Toga's pov and consider listening to her problems too -- not because they're heroes, or goody goody, but more because of the view of how things SHOULD be in the world. They'd eventually want her to pay for her crimes and end up in juvenile detention or jail or whatever, anyway. I will always give people the benefit of the doubt until they prove me wrong, or do something to me. Does that make me too nice or naive? probably, but I can't help it lol.

ngl, this clash in the manga (that ending esp) made me cry so much omg. And we didn't even get to the full climax yet, so I don't think you can say whether or not they're lenient on bad guys. But when you get to the end of the series, you'll understand Horikoshi's point and objective and final message for MHA and why this is what's going on right now. Also, keep in mind that Toga is 17 -- and left home and school, and ended up on the streets with other outcasts. It's not about talk-no-jutsu. It's not the same as Naruto and the Pain arc where everyone gets brought back to life just because they talked it out. This is much darker, and it's only clear when you get nearer to the final chapters in MHA especially a bonus character they introduce, that links it all up perfectly. I think this is more a reflection of society, and how many times people with mental illness are being discouraged and killed off with no chance to be saved just because no one wants to understand them. And as someone with GAD and ADHD, I may not be as dangerous as someone with sociopathy or schizophrenia, but they deserve to be helped too. Not necessarily saved, but definitely listened to more often.

This is gonna sound like one of those assignments in class about replying to someone else for 10% of the grade but idc- I don't agree with you with what you said at the end. Yes there is leniency towards the villains in this show but Horikoshi gives a good balance to what consequences happen to each of them. Jin had already died. And I'm not going to spoil what happens right after this episode but if Toga lives, yes Uraraka KNOWS that she's murdered before, but she'll still have to atone for her crimes before redeeming herself through community service or whatever. Yes I could make the argument about how it's society's fault for failing her when she was young, and what happens? Everything in the anime plays out because of that. It mirrors real life where some people just reach a breaking point when no one reaches out their hand to save the broken, and they turn out to be criminals in the future. Then really, who's fault is it at that point? But if Himiko Toga dies, then there will be that one defining moment of her sacrificing something she has to be that redeeming moment. It isn't sympathy or leniency, nor talk-no-jutsu creating that moment, it's just two characters, because of all their actions up to that moment, and the effects- of what happens after. I genuinely believe because I have read the full manga, Horikoshi does a great job at foreshadowing and having Chekov's gun moments that later pay off at the end of the story, or at least at the end of each character's arc- in this case being Ochako and Toga's and last episode being the Todoroki family

I agree with what you said in the end. Few main characters are imo 'too good' in some shows. They will try to save the worst of the worst person no matter what. Hell, I feel more connected to Denji than Tanjiro or Midoriya. But you know it's just how that characters are and what the show is about. Friendship, love never give up thingy. I don't mind too much of these 'crazy good' characters from time to time
