Bonus Story voting, April '25

Here we go, our first round of voting for this month's bonus story! I LOVE these prompts, gang. Whatever wins, I'm stoked for it. Here are all the nominations from the suggestion post, plus some from discord. Voting ends April 19th. Vote as many times as you want. If you see anything wrong (e.g. I accidentally omitted a suggestion), please let me know. Once voting ends, I'll get the story written and posted by the end of the month, to make sure everybody who's entitled to it gets their download even if they adjust their pledge next month.

Patreon imposes a 140 character limit on polls. Any nomination that exceeds that is included up here in the post indexed by the option #, so anything ending in ^ is included up here in the body so you can see the entire suggestion, and in a few borderline ones, I slightly modified the suggestion to fit. Sorry for the scrolling nuisance! I'll forewarn folks in May's nomination post. (Not banning lengthier suggestions; just to reduce the number for folks who can be inspired to brevity.)

NOMINATIONS EXCEEDING CHARACTER LIMIT:

• #2: A guy comes into possession of a small collection of items that can each with a given role (mother, slave, assistant, girlfriend, benefactor, mentor, etc). Each of them can be used once to assign that role to a person. The world is then altered to make this change true and accepted with only the MC cognizant of the changes. As an example, a woman given mother role may suddenly realize the MC is their long lost child missing some 10 years, or take pity on a stranger and adopt them welcoming into their home.

• #3: A happy and satisfying conclusion to the "My New Girlfriend" saga: Courtney and Drew's wedding. Ideally involving plenty of sex, the usual amount of shenanigans, and culminating in Courtney's wedding gift to Drew: full ownership of her faithful pet/sidekick/sex slave, Erica.

• #4: A new restaurant has been extremely popular ever since it opened. This is despite the fact that some women feel compelled to stay until it closes and accompany some of the staff home.

• #5: A look into the life & situationship of The Creep's most miserable character, Sherry. What does it mean to be the hypnotized afterthought, the fourth wheel to your ex-girlfriend's lesbian polycule, somehow after the literal man, and how has she been coping (or not coping)?

• #6: A man using a new online dating service seems to have an unusual amount of control over the woman he is video chatting with—but when he meets her in person, he isn’t sure if he is really MC-ing her or if she’s playing…or which he would prefer.

• #10: A guy gains the power of "mind control" and uses it on the people he knows. Turning his friend group into his freeuse play things. He uses his "mind control" to turn his female best friend (single) into his fuckpet, his other female friends in relationships being freeuse for him too. He continually uses his power, perverting the relationships he and his friends all have with themselves and others. But as he continues to abuse his "mind control" powers on the people he knows, he notices that his memories seem to be changing. Is he changing more than minds, or is he losing his own?

• #11: After an entire friend group break up due to an accusation, that community starts reaching out to apologize and offer to make things up but for the life of him he can't figure out why.

• #14: Line of Magnolia link in case you want a reminder and wanted a link.

• #15: a 'classic' mind control story. The diary of a roommate whom is being subjected to subliminals by their controller, be that a roommate, or an RA (who knows? An alternate experiment by ???)

• #16: Losers: New Normal. Basically the GHS: New Normal formula (mind control is a fresh thing, a series of vignettes about how different people are taking advantage) but set in the first (or at least, an early) Lottery.

• #17: TIOS: Heather is nervous about meeting a recruiter for Berkeley in a coffee shop and Conner makes the mistake of telling her to just relax, show off all of her fantastic qualities and, if she still feels too nervous, just pretend she's talking to him - all of which leads to the lucky male recruiter having the evening of his life.

• #18: Two girls and a guy are sharing a house. Story changes POVs, and every one of them is absolutely convinced that they have hypnotized the other two to do their bidding. Who is actually the one that has the control, and who are merely hypnotised in thinking it was their idea? Optional: and why is the led illumination of the house malfunctioning, changing the light colors randomly (with the implication being that the color of the light in the house is a trigger to change the dynamic)
