AFAIK for things like database, there ARE theoretically Japanese words for them at least from the POV of w/e institution is responsible for upholding grammar & other linguistic rules nation-wise, but most people are not actually going to use that shit, instead of just using cool English words like database professionally or even casually etc. Also she's doing it because that type of speech pattern is something that does exist IRL, most notably in idol/office fields specifically. You do see it in other anime as well from time to time, obviously. Also even without the huuuuge skipp gap, Gram would have won anyway because of using a 2h western sword vs a 1h shit-metal sword like what she is using. The sword will snap to shit whereas a superior western steel sword will just bend slightly, even if you smash her w/ the side of the blade
