I actually thought this before but when I checked it’s a different test for father/son kinship versus familial relationship so that could still be a possibility.

My guess is that Chairman Hong knew it too which is why he kept digging it in episode 3 when they were clay shooting. The wife knew but to your point her son is a mass murderer who started before 10 so I don’t know what she plans to do with him. P.S. How wild is it that his identity is small news
