2025-01-09 15:58:12 +0000 UTCBased on how the demon king is described & the scale & what the blind girl & the wyvern suffered from, I don't think the "demon king" is a person, but some type of AoE weather phenomenon or something like that. It literally has AoE insanity aura of some kind at least, and literally nobody knows what the "demon king" looked like, just like they don't know what the person who is supposed to have defeated the "demon king" looked like either (makes sense if the "demon king" has a massive AoE, so the one defeating it would probably have to be near the eye of the storm so to speak, and the "storm" would prevent anyone from the outside seeing to the core itself obviously). I can't think of the demon king being a living being, more like a divine-scale natural disaster like the Particle Storm is implied to be (it clearly has some level of sapience, since it specifically narrowed the eye of the storm down to an individual minia's level, instead of a more indiscriminate area, especially since it clearly waited for the kid to approach the "altar" there, before closing in around them, since before that it was practically still (by desert metrics at any rate), until it suddenly wasn't, and there's lightning bouncing in-between the Particle Storm as well. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Particle Storm was also a "Visitor" in the sense that our world ejected it out on a conceptual level, because such a "natural phenomenon" must not exist in our world, just like all Visitors are given the boot for violating the standards that things living inside our universe are meant to be in, generally by literally breaking laws of physics or at least the biological constraints of their respective lifeform classification.
