Sadly for him, Haki ISN'T based on biological functions, but mental power (so arguably more related to Soul than physical matter essentially). No Joe you don't get it, remember that this world is a post-happening world, w/ an ancient kingdom who was giga advance vs others, so they probably just loved using high-tech shit on visually antique looking things because they COULD. Kinda like how in some sci-fi settings the most advanced species wears shit like robes etc, but on the inside the robes are busted af w/ integrated force-field, life-support mechanisms, invisibility tech etc. And while their houses look like crystal spires etc, they are on the inside busted af w/ highest grade tech a sci-fi civ has available. It happens really often in shit like Star Trek etc where some advanced af civ is just clowning around & playing the unga bunga role for outsiders, just because they can for the lulz
