Well, the excuse for the Pact was so that Basara can always know the location of Mio. So basically for her safty. But the real Reason why Maria wanted them to do it, was to make Mio stronger. Because since the pact was made with part of Maria's magic, it's influended by Succubus powers. Which means every time the Pact senses some betrayel, they get Horny. And Dominating them while being Horny makes them stronger. Which obviously is very convenient. Overall, knowing how you Rate Animes I would say you giving it a 5/10 is actually pretty good. Something I think is funny is, that while watching Highschool DxD you were always pointing out hat some is cockblocking Issei. Like often it was Asia coming inbetween him ansd Rias or Rias inbetween him and Akeno etc. But here the MC actually gets to do stuff ๐คฃ
