Why would it be impossible to believe that arrogant asshats who try to artificially create some busted broken units that can steal abilities from others & use all of the stolen abilities themselves, would all get clapped by the units? It's pretty standard as far as post-apocalypse settings go, and clearly it can't have been all of the ancestors or the current people wouldn't exist, probably only the ones that had Dia Skills were clapped enmasse (after all, the entire point of the units killing mfs would be to steal their shit, no?).

She has overtime because it was shown already like 1-2 episodes ago that SHE'S UTTER SHIT AT PAPERWORK, literally the tank from Silver Sword did that shit faster & w/ 0 errors when it took her like 2+ years just to get her current slowass pace of filling the paperwork, hence why she's the only one at the night doing that overtime shit, besides the noob who joined after her, which I think might have finally made the noob do overtime too because of the new tower they discovered etc

I don't know whether it's just me getting more cynical over time, but a lot of the early parts of this episode felt badly written to me.
Didn't like Jade spending so much time praising Alina, felt weird and out of place there. Thought it's weird that the Boss allowed the other two to run away without any interest in pursuing them.
Really disliked Alina having second thoughts about saving them, seemed a superficial attempt at increasing drama, especially since her doubts are dispelled immediately.
Then there's Alina entering the boss room at regular walking speed, should've had a bigger sense of urgency.
And why is Jade just at the side there and still alive? This boss killed the asshole last episode with a single stab. He didn't even try to use Jade as bait. How is it supposed to be believable that Jade still lives?
And most of all, the passage of time seems ridiculous. With everything that took place here, Jade must've been fighting this boss for about half an hour or so before Alina arrived. She really shouldn't have been able to arrive in time.
I also kinda refuse to believe that lore drop in the middle. You can't just say "yeah, I'm a dark god, I killed all the ancestors" and be done with it. The later statement of "there will be other dark gods" kinda makes it a bit better, but only because it leaves the possibility that those also existed in the past and helped with defeating the ancestors.
That being said, the fight animations this episode looked great and the comedy at the end was more of what this series started out with and I liked it. Maybe we can actually go back to the original premise of her just soloing bosses so that she can clock out on time, now.
