Yes! That is how I feel every week. It is so easy to get absorbed and lost in this show that you lose track of time. I feel the same way about My Happy Marriage. I get to the end of the episode and I’m like wait that’s it but it just started. As for the op, if we go off the second op from last season, I think it is safe to say there is a lot of hidden meaning in it. I really love getting to put the pieces together with the opening. I didn’t even catch the portrait of the old lady being in the opening. That is so cool. I also hope we do get a moment like we did last season where we get to see all the pieces come together. That was one of my favorite moments last season. Lastly, I really loved seeing Maomao trying to piece things together because it was a brilliant way to reintroduce information we learned in the first season while also throwing in some new information like Lihua being related maternally to the emperor.

Joe, I think it needed to be someone they could recognize as more beautiful than they were. Like Maomao said, they were sure they were the prettiest ones there.

The OP is filled with hidden spoilers (it's just near impossible to notice right away) ... especially the end part (before the scene where maomao and jinshi are dripping wet)

So if you remember back to S1E17, when Maomao was dressing Jinshi up to be a commoner, but first she pulled the prank and made him up to be a woman, but the result was so terrifying that it would "bring down a nation", and she, Gaoshun, and Suiren agreed to never talk about it again... now you understand what terrified her so much - Jinshi is the ideal woman.
