It's just that many production committees have chosen ENGI, probably because they have a relatively cheap production cost and a quick production schedule. While those committees chose a low-cost studio, they would make everything else cheap as well. However, Medalist has invited a renowned screenwriter, Jukki Hanada, who has written many adaptation scripts with boldly (and occasionally controversial) reconstructed scenes under an emotional approach for the anime medium, and ENGI might have more backing and guidance to produce a proper adaptation under the Medalist committee.
