People talk like the problem is Cecil having a backup plan to deal with Mark. That’s never been the problem, that’s actually logical and smart, the problem is the prick used his ONLY advantage over a stupid discussion, not as a last resort to save Earth. I never liked Cecil because he’s too dumb. Invincible, for me, is getting better because he’s not being a little bitch anymore. He’s too powerful to be following anyone’s orders. And yeah, Mark’s logic for not killing makes no sense. He should just accept that some people have to die, and that’s it. Sure, some people can change for the better after committing crimes, but I’m almost certain Cecil is brainwashing people, and I hate that mf regardless of whether he is or not.

Very True. Mark doesnt get how menacing he looks slaughtering these things while keeping eye contact. Also, lets say the white room didnt happen and the focus stayed on Mark's moral argument. Mark's preformance review is trash. He lost to Doc Seismic too. DUDE, I aint putting all my eggs in the "Low Might" basket. I am truely surprised that when Cecil told him they installed the device during his hospital stay, that Mark's next line wasn't "Which time?" Also, relevant side note, Oliver does not listen. He's trigger happy, and immediately breaks promises. But, whats the common denominator? Mark gettin his ass beat. Maybe he'd listen if he was more confidant in "Low Might". Fun Fact, Oliver's species have photographic memory and remember everything since birth. So he saw Mark gettin his ass beat from day 1. 🤕

a minor disagreement where Mark was already killing a bunch of cyborgs meant to protect Cecil. I will say Cecil did escalate the situation by going to the room and then allowing the robots to fight Mark and then using the device, but fear is a powerful motivator. Mark has made it known to Cecil multiple times that he only sees things from his own perspective and Cecil is aware of what Mark is capable of. In Mark's defense, if you put a fucking device in my neck to control me, I will never trust you again. I think they both had their reasons and handled it poorly. Still team Cecil though.

Honestly, I loved this episode!
Also I'm gonna be real here, Mark has never been my favorite character. I don't hate him, but I don't love him at all. I feel for him, with what his dad put him through and the perception of that was created because of it. But my sympathy can only last for so long before it runs out. I'm glad he ended up with Eve though. They are a cute couple.
I'm on Cecil's side for the most part in all this, I think the measures he takes are necessary, when dealing with a hero that could turn into a potential world ending threat.
I enjoyed the part of the episode with Alan and Nolan, that was fun, and Nolan is continuing to be in my top 5 fave characters.
Great reaction

Yeah, I will agree Cecil pulled that trigger WAY too fast, given their history. Almost as if they have limited number of episodes to build tension 😁 Admittedly if he just said "No" and walked off, that would be a power play in itself. If Mark got physical after that, then he loses the argument.

Mark wasn’t even that mad about the chip itself, more the fact that he used it. He acknowledged why Cecil did it during his conversation with Eve on the roof. Honestly, if Cecil just asked and only used it during an actual emergency I don’t think Mark would have cared. But using it over a minor disagreement is just absurd.

LMAO, Imagine if Cecil came thru a portal right after Mark's fight. Just walking in the room with a slow clap and shit-eating grin

More and more Mark keeps pissin me off. Im not lettin Cecil completely off the hook, but come on! The fact that Mark doesnt see how "Trust me bro" isnt a reliable assurance when the multiverse doesnt even back his claim is mind blowing. I get that Mark is hurt that even after proving himself over and over again, that he'll always be lumped in with his dad. Like he's never been given the benefit of the doubt. However, over and over and over again he is given it. What Cecil did was a violation. I get the emotional damage alone is substantial. However, while Cecil does believe in Mark and roots for him to achieve his full potential, he doesn't have the luxury of BLIND faith. And lets keep it 100%, had it been Amanda Waller? He wouldn't have even made it to the title card :-/

Now things are starting to line up with Viltrum’s weakness exposed. Now it makes sense why Anissa was so reluctant to kill Mark. If the Viltrumites are so ruthless, why would they continue to put up with a belligerent half-breed and a planet of rebellious weaklings? Because they have no other choice. They are now an endangered species! What interests me is what exactly changed so quickly? How did their numbers dwindle so drastically and the coalition didn’t notice? They are still a great threat, that a single Viltrumite warrior can wipe out an entire planet. But the threat is a lot more manageable now.
