i really cant see how you thought it was bad acting lmfao, its literally just to show he was a cringy teenager... they use the same shtick when it comes to older "ahjussi" roles too. like when an older man makes a cringy joke and laughs at his own jokes, you're supposed to laugh AT him and understand that he plays a cringy uncle... same thing here but in a teenager context
