Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy S2 Ep. 9 Reaction [FULL]

Comments

Was that end a flag for tomoe losing her mind or contolled?

Leo

Makoto is such a lil bitch pushover. I dont like his character at all.

Leo

Sorry to say Joe, but at this point of the story Root could body all 3 of them. Yes it would be one hell of a fight, but Root would still win.

Mychael Dark

Karen Force looks NOTHING like that lady. Idk how he mistook that lol.

関口信玄

his demiplane is already connected to this world, maybe he'll be able to connect it to his original world at some point?

TAC Genesis

I gotta say, I think Tsukimichi is underrated because it's an isekai anime.

Plechtorix

Gotcha gotcha. Thx for the tip!! :)

It's not a time-dilation effect, it's timey-wimey stuff. Best proof of that are Makoto's parents. They spent about 15-20 years in Japan. Given how relatively important but not world-changing they were in the Goddess' world (a noble and a high-ranking priestess), it wouldn't make sense for Eva to recognize them if they lived hundreds of years ago. If the parents had been the "founding king and the grand priestess of Elysion" or something like that, then maybe. But as it stands, we have to assume that they were important but not that important, so Eva remembering means that they lived in the Goddess' world not that long ago. It would also explain why Root said that Makoto should be able to teleport to his original world, but only had a 1 in 15 million chance of hitting the correct "destination". If the destination meant his hometown in Japan rather than another place on earth, then he would probably be able to find his way back home quite easily. If, however, destination includes different time frames, then the discouragement - especially the 1 in 15 million part - makes a lot more sense.

For the Guildmaster person, his name according to proper Japanese -> English translation would be Root, they just say Luto cause of Japanese pronunciation to subtitle issues. For the "Master" of Root(Luto), that's also just a subtitle issue, it should be husband instead. Finally, since they mentioned that time travels differently, and the Sega Mega Drive came out in 1988, I assume that time is at a 1:100 ratio or smth between the original world and the new(main) world.

Shin is indeed not listed among those 5 dragons. Her nickname was "Muteki", for "Invincible". Mitsurugi="Heavenly Sword" is Lancer (the sword-dragon that Makoto fought at the end of season 1) The rest are Bakufu=Waterfall, Akari=Crimson Lapis, Sazanami=Sand Wave, Yomatoi=Night Clad. (Those are literal translations, by the way.) Luto as shown here is called "Banshoku", which stands for Myriad Colors. (Think of the spectrum of light that contains all colors, a rainbow would also work as a more simplified version.) PS: Just got towards the end. No, Rona is not impersonating the woman that Makoto killed. That woman was a prostitute and part-time-adventurer from Tsilge. The girl that Rona is impersonating is "Karen Force", a student from a different Academy that transferred to the Rotsgard academy. She was a military grade mage in her home kingdom. Rona explains all of that in the previous episode. She also reveals that Karen was killed by her companions, so Rona used her identity as a way to safely infiltrate the academy.

Literally they tell you which console in the anime. It's the Sega Mega Drive. It came out in 1988 in Japan and phased out in 97.

Ryu Maroku

I just found out recently when I made the same comment on Discord that apparently this came out before slime. So it's actually slime that takes its hints from this.

Brian Carotenuto

This show really does remind me of slime in all the best ways

Shane x Masters

Kinda weird the subs translated danna-sama as "master" tbh, considering it's generally translated as "husband" (I mean I get why they did it, since it essentially means "Master of the Household" which is essentially the same), especially since Root was married to him until death & all that, so it should be like that context wise as well

Skebaba

The original chimera is literally a combination of random animals (lion with a goat head coming out of its back and a snake as a tail)

ironic legacy
