Undead Unluck Ep. 22 Reaction [FULL]

Comments

Victor lived for hundreds of millions of years not hundreds, and it wasn’t just “oh you’re strong now.” The only reason he was opposing them was because he thought killing god was impossible, so he wanted to mercy kill Juiz. Fuuko’s Unluck evolved in a way that made killing god seem possible again meaning he no longer has a reason to try to kill Juiz.

So you think you know everything about how anime is produced? I bet you didn't know that this isn't just david production working on this, but also TMS Entertainment? And that david production is just in charge of animation, while TMS Entertainment is in charge of production and planning? Anyway, idk why you're watching. If you're one of those hate-watchers, you're more cringe than anything else.

True, my main point in saying that was just to let people know that nothing of major importance was cut out from the manga, like many other animes do.

reading the summary is just different from reading the actual story with nuance and delivery

backseat

they skipped a lot of dialogues, and the fight looked lame af, and the character body movement, cinematography, dialogue delivery were just weird like usual, the next frame doesn't look like it followed the previous frame, the way characters move around look like they have terminal illness, everything is just cringe, i swear to god david put zero budget and time into this show, just pumped it out like one of those random isekai that no one watches

backseat

the anime made everything confusing af, all the horrible changes and skips, just so they can have more time to put in flash backs

They didn't skip anything in the manga, but it was summarized. Still, all of the main points were mentioned. Victor vs Andy, Fuuko learning how to target her unluck according to the receiver of the unluck, and Andy learning how to utilize his soul. It also mentioned Victor's relationship with Juiz and his motives. Finally, Victor acknowledges Fuuko's ability to reach and kill God, and his subsequent decision to leave the scene. The only semi-big thing that wasn't mentioned was Victor explicitly stating that he would no longer interfere/get in the way of their affairs. To be honest, though, I had hoped that the Victor vs Andy arc would be the end of Season 1 because then we would have a perfect season 2 lined up: Union VS the Four Seasons UMAs.
