Well it's just like how they left out in season 1 how Mokoto was about to wipe out the entire Forest Ogre village because of a certain "event" and had to be talked out of by Tomoe.

The kids are only fighting the blue dragons at the blue dragon 10th of their strength, which they just now up the male blue dragon to version 2, which he's probably at either 15 or 20% of the strength. So that's why the kids got scared when the lesser dragon roared.

2024-03-12 03:05:45 +0000 UTCThey completely changed the scene Makoto learned about Lime becoming Tomoe's kin. Lime is the one who tells Makoto that he is now Tomoe's kin. Lime said when Tomoe healed his injuries she made him her kin "while she was at it". When Makoto heard that, he figured Tomoe forced/coerced Lime to give up his Hyumanity. He would be rightfully angry if it was true. Lime then explained that he wanted to become her kin, which calmed Makoto down. Tomoe later explains to Lime that Makoto hates anything being forced on people.

2024-03-12 02:19:37 +0000 UTCI'm kinda sad that they totally downplayed Lime in this episode, or rather, the scene where Makoto learned that Lime became Tomoe's kin. In the novel, Makoto went ballistic because he thought that Tomoe forced Lime to become her kin to use him, and that Lime was an idiot for "throwing away" his humanity. If anyone remembers how Makoto reacted when he gave the death glare to Tomoe and Mio toward early-middle of season 1 when they met Toa; it was that level.
