When you do watch a short please like and comment on it. You can literally comment anything, it can be one word or even just an emojji. Shorts have been a massive marketer for the YouTube channel and those pop off big time with likes and comments
If you're not really interested in doing this, i get it π I just figured I would ask ya'll.

I do watch the occasional Short if it's a series / moment that truly interests me. On the creator flip side, I understand the request. I need to get into Shorts myself even if I don't have the highest opinion of them. I could use you as good reference lol

I just know that in terms of analytics it's a large part of my audience and when those shorts get more likes and comments it translates to views and subs. Especially when it's organic that's why i just wanted to inform everyone on Patreon to just consider checking them out if they're interested at all and if they do check it out then leave a like and comment for the ones they watch.

People consume shortform content, imagine me being a content creator and not making content for that large audience, i would be bad at my job if i didn't try to reach everyone. Right now my highest viewed video is a short with 2.6M views and that video alone has gotten the channel like 5.5k subscribers. I understand not liking that form of content, in fact, i don't use TikTok at all. With that said it's more stress on you to even care about what others enjoy than to just ignore it all.

I wish there was a way to remove shorts permanently from youtube, fucking hate the tinyass window especially since even previously existing short clips for some regarded reason were converted into it. Tried a few script additions to get rid of that shit, but it always broke one other thing etc in addition to removing that specific part of the UI so I gave up eventually
