2024-05-16 09:54:26 +0000 UTCSo the "body swap" thing is actually more similar to another movie [OBVIOUS SPOILERS ARE OBVIOUS] called "Skeleton Key". In that one a young nurse helps an old white couple with care for the decrepit and ailing husband. Towards the end it turns out that the couple are actually hoodoo practitioners who keep stealing other people's bodies, then paralyse the victims to have them die of old age. The husband already stole the body of a lawyer, with said lawyer now being stuck in the old mans body. The wife then swaps with the young nurse, stealing her body and damning the nurse to a life as the old woman.
