you kind of made her point about drugs yourself lol, Trying something new for fun and never doing it again is different from people who use drugs to feel warm or happy like the MC is going through right now. Hence why homeless people tend to take drugs

She hasn't seen Otosaka in weeks, if not months, and even before that she didn't really know him, and these asshole adults just threw her unprepared and unequipped thinking "oh - he liked her once upon a time, maybe she'll snap him out of it". It's no wonder she ended up getting run out of the apartment.
