For K-Drama Fans

After I finish "Lovely Runner" I will be watching "Weak Class Hero 1" since it's a short, action series with short episodes, then I plan to watch "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" then "Moving" then "Crash Landing On You". I'm unsure when any of these will come to YouTube, but i imagine eventually they will. As I watch them they will be uploaded 1 episode a week, MAYBE every 5 days at most.

IF something GOOD and POPULAR is Currently Airing/Recently Released during the next month or 2 as I watch these, I will prioritize that popular new show. These 4 are just the next 4 completed shows I plan to watch. I do plan to watch A LOT more. If I put my entire list it would be like 25 deep.

ALSO, if you notice something really good (I mean on the level of The Glory, Queen of Tears, etc) is airing and it's getting popular, PLEASE TELL ME. You can just DM me on Patreon and I will then be aware of it. I would like to be watching at least 1 currently airing show as a time. I basically missed Queen of Tears and jumped on Lovely Runner right at the end of it airing.

Oh, have you watched Kingdom? (Its an insane zombie apocalypse story set in the historical period.) Speaking of Historical Drama, Mr. Queen is such a funny and good one! (Its about a modern day playboy chef waking up in a queen's body, it so funny and good). React to them too if you have the time. ^^

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon or Doctor Slump are good romcoms you may want to check out too.

Marry My Husband is a revenge story which rivals The Glory. It has an amazing cast with incredible acting, a revenge story that has INSANE PLOT POINTS, some very nice romance, and the great tension!! Some episodes will have you cheering, while some will have you clickling the next episode without pausing!! PLS REACT TO IT! (I guarantte you will enjoy.)

Pls watch Marry My husband, it is so good.

Noticed this late but one of my all time favorite that I highly recommend is School 2015!

I haven't watched any of these shows except for It's Ok Not To Be Ok, and it's one of my favorites. Moving and Crash Landing on You are on my To-watch list. So maybe I'll be done with them once you start. I haven't been watching many k-dramas the past 2 years because of Chinese dramas. Once I fell down that rabbit hole, I was stuck. Even though I believe K-dramas are better than C-dramas (or any other dramas), C-dramas are still good and usually readily available on YouTube. Coming from a 3rd world country with shitty internet makes me lean towards watching on YouTube to avoid buffering. From what K-dramas I've watched before, these are my absolute favorites in case you want some recommendations for polls down the line. 1- Hospital Playlist (probably the best and most accurate medical drama out there, no crazy shenanigans, just amazing storytelling, probably my favorite drama ever) 2/3- Itaewon Class (a revenge story that's thrilling without it being action focused, + romance) 3/2- Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (a rom-com with a supernaturally strong female lead) 4- Good Doctor (The series that made me try K-dramas out, it's the original Good Doctor, I didn't enjoy with the American series' lead so I was recommended this one, + this one ends in 1 season) 5- A Business Proposal (a rom-com with a contract relationship trope which I personally enjoy) 6- Hotel del Luna (a rom-com at a ghost hotel + a sassy female lead) It's Ok Not To Be Ok would be around the 5th rank for me. Sorry for the long post >.> I'm just excited because a lot of anime reactors are picking up K-dramas. And I am especially hyped because you are as well and it wasn't just a 1 time thing and that's it.

Ah it's a shame that you already watched signal but I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's so good.. Beyond evil is also really good, similar genre too (detective/thriller). Save me is also VERY interesting, it's about a girl who get entangled with a weird church cult, there's not many kdramas with that kind of plot and it would make your blood boils haha Extraordinary attorney woo is just too good, heartwarming and very well written, I'm happy you're considering it!

Emy

"W" Could be classed Isekai since the protagonist gets pulled into a manhwa.

Cool. It's also one of the highest rated shows just above queen of tears iirc. Yea, you can check out the trailer or somethin and see if you're into it! Enjoy!

‘itaewon class’ and ‘cafe minamdang’ are my suggestions. i hope you check them out. but ‘it’s okay to not be okay’ is also a solid choice. i would love to rewatch and hear your thoughts on it.

i loved The Signal. Really great one (watched it before i did these reactions). I want to watch The Good Bad Mother since its the male lead from The Glory. Also interested in Attorney Woo. Haven't heard of the other's but ill eventually do polls for more k-dramas.

JoeFreshest

good to know

JoeFreshest

idk if ive ever seen any "isekai k-drama" so i guess eventually if i check it out i will see what you mean. I will probably do polls once i get through those 4

JoeFreshest

these are ones i just want to watch first. After i watch these ill probably be asking for recommendations like i do for anime reactions. Also ill keep uploading multiple at once at least 2 at a time but i only really have time to watch 1 at a time.

JoeFreshest

meh because k-dramas or meh because you have better ones in mind?

JoeFreshest

i dont really care about when they came out. Those are just ones ive heard a lot of good things about. After i finish them ill check out more and maybe one will be Secretary Kim. I've heard about that one too.

JoeFreshest

Been enjoying your latest kdrama reactions. I know you got tons of recommendations but I will just put these kdramas on your radar and hope you will check them out someday (these are really well-written and popular) : Beyond evil Extraordinary attorney woo My mister Mask girl DP (season 1) Save me The good bad mother Signal

‘The 8 show’ was recently released and was on people’s radar. Didn’t blow up as the squid game but there is definetely similar vibe. Pretty short too with 8 episodes total.

Decaf

"It's Okay to Not Be Okay", "Moving" and "Crash Landing On You" are very solid choices. I'm very sure you'll enjoy them! You may also want to check-out "Reborn Rich" if you're into isekai kdrama! :D

Some of these wouldn’t be my first choice. But it is what it is. Will you be watching multiple at a time? Also, how do you pick ones you are watching? I want to recommend some, but I dont know how you choose and don’t want to just throw out ideas for no reason.

Meh

I know they don't fit your criteria for reacts since they are a couple of years out, But my two favorite K-Drama's are W:When Worlds Collide (Viki) and What's Wrong With Secrectary Kim (Netflix) . Really intriguing premises. Might be worth watching on your own time.

New upcoming Kdrama called Link Click. It’s gonna bang
