When Tatsuya was born, the then head of the Yotsuba family, who was the uncle of Miya and Maya, used his unique magic to detect Tatsuya's special magic. That year, the Yotsuba family indeed convened all their blood relatives to decide whether to kill this baby, who possessed the power to destroy the world, in his cradle.

2024-06-18 11:39:36 +0000 UTCOverall an OK episode IMO, some excitement with the end fight and some plot/character development on the yotsuba side. I assume if the Anime gets a S4 they'll go into more of the Yotsuba backstory. They've skipped over a lot of it since it usually just gets given out in small chunks throughout the novels to this point. With this season ending they'll have covered 15 full novels for the most part. Either way, hope they are able to close out this season satisfactorily and that we eventually get more.
