I feel like that this AO ending is somewhat rushed without a proper lead-up, and I think that the ending would've been less dramatic but more encouraging if Kumiko was going to be the soli for the episode to provide the vibe of undaunted comeback instead of the vibe of compromised success in contribution to the series as whole imo. Given how much contents that have been skipped that I learned, I think that a 2-cour season with extended adaptations could have levitate some of my conflicted feeling toward this ending.
