Quantity or, um, rapidity?
Added 2018-10-03 10:35:44 +0000 UTCI'm sure there's a better way of phrasing that^. Anyway, just looking for a little input here from you guys. Since obviously most folks can't swing the $50/mo read-'em-as-I-write-'em rate, I was interested in y'all's input on the release schedule for the next book(s) in the TIOS universe. Right now, in-book, the plot is coming up on the King of Hearts dance, which will hopefully make for a good amount of drama, some exposition, some w00ha.
As it stands, Ch. 1-5 of We, The Nighthawks is already near to the length of all 11 chapters of TIOS. (I might break them up in publication for folks who like to pace themselves with shorter chapters, but whatevs.) But it also doesn't tell as much of a story; it will easily double before I get to a proper Novel book. So my question is, would you guys prefer I release it in shorter bursts, or wait until there's something more weighty? The considerations seem to be partially of patience and of economics. I know $5 for a book isn't much to many of you (and the 70% I get of that is even less :P) but I know for some it is. Anyway, let me know your thoughts!

I can respect that. And I truly look forward to whatever follows in this story. :)

I've read series that sometimes took years between books, and it was agony -- but then it'd feel so worth it once I got my fix. I guess we'll see!

2018-10-04 06:08:49 +0000 UTC*nod* I try to leave the financials out of it. I really don't make much off of Amazon, but I love the work so I don't care if it keeps me poor. But for some reason this series seemed to grip people, so I figured I'd see if people were in a rush to get a taste or what. So far, looks like Team Patience is winning. :)
