As you know, the writing was done by the same guy who did DanMachi, so i would expect the world building to be pretty good indeed. It's true that the building blocks are similar to BC and Mashle, but it has room to grow. And for the record, Mash hadn't started the anime yet when this was started, but the Mash Manga was obviously around.
