Regarding to Passione's the other anime, a lot of people didn't like how the story switches between different characters and didn't have a set MC or a trackable narrative at first while there are heavy CGI usage in that anime, which causes a lot of audiences to drop the low score and drop the show early, and that show being a Disney exclusive didn't help either.

I feel like this adaptation being a remake of a completed novel series has somewhat impacted how much funding that the production committee would've provided to the studio, unlike Passione's the other anime which is still adapted from an ongoing series and it's even backed by Disney, however I think that Passione still provides high quality animations when needed like Holo's transformations.
Even though the general graphic quality isn't exactly top-tier, I still appreciate that there more details displayed in the background environments, the characters gestures and the scene transitions in this adaptation.
