I enjoyed that the term used for being a "sub" is "Doem", which basically means "massive M" as in "massive Masochist". It's also the first name of Perv Asshat in Eminence in Shadow, since his japanese name is "Doem Ketsuhat".

2024-08-15 03:28:34 +0000 UTCThere are apparently quite a few Details more about the Suou Family that gets explained in later Volumes.. but i dont want to spoil anything, though since i have not read the Light Novels myself so far, i dont even know about all the Details.. but yeah the Grandfather sounds definitely like a big Jerk who only loves his Familys Past glory and ignores his Familys feelings, especially if they go about anything that might tarnish that "Glory"

2024-08-14 19:45:20 +0000 UTCOne small Detail that most likely was left out at the beginning was that the School Masachika and Yuki go to is also a rather prestigous one and being a Student Council President at Seirei Academy carries significant Status which also gives nice Prestige on a Resume for someones Future, and their Grandfather values nothing more than the Honor of the Suou Family who was once a highly prestigous Noble Family but is in decline, and the Grandfather hates it that Masachika who he disinherited interferes with Yuki who is now the Heir of the Suou Household.
