I think that the sakuga is getting better because many resources are getting poured into the last arc for the showdowns, and therefore even the band performance looks good yet the fighting sequences from the previous arcs aren't that great. I do think that this series is at its best when it isn't trying to do the comedy bit, and I think that those bits are meant to reinforce the character traits but they aren't connected to the characters involved in the bits to make them to be funny. Also Aoi Yuuki singing. ❤️
