This was, predictably, a delight. I have to imagine this how 95% of mind control stories would go in real life. Fantasies aren't built for reality, and vice versa; that's why we have different words for them. Having a dream come true... there's almost nothing that'd make me think I wasn't being pranked and/or set up. And that's on top of... like, what if you're not the type of person who's looking for a consensual hypno relationship? Some people want role-play, some people totally do not. To take something deeply personal and then be forced to acknowledge it in the harsh light of an incredibly hot woman that is saying everything you've ever dreamed... that's maybe more of a No than people'd expect? Not that this is all insight and introspection, though. The joke of Scott never getting together with his own fantasy, even as every section ends with the certainty that it's about to get REAL HOT, that never gets old. Hilarious, pathetic, and hilariously pathetic. Excellent idea, perfectly executed.
