The RA volume 2, ch. 4 & 5

It's been a long few weeks, gang. Luckily, I had the bestest most helpfulest RA in the world to give me a little kick in the butt! After Friday's beach day and Saturday's spontaneous hookup with Savannah, these two chapters take us through Sunday night into Monday afternoon! It's weird, because in terms of letting time pass, I feel like volume 2 is going soooooooo slowly, but in terms of things happening, I feel pretty OK about it. Heck, 5 chapters in (some of them really short by Ice Bear standards) and we're already moving into Spencer getting seriously suspicious about all the booty when he's on duty.

So here's a couple more chapters for you. It's got Marisa. It's got Ramona. It's got Vickie, for some reason! It's even got a new image in the gallery. I'm being consistent so far pre-empting new images for y'all with a 000 prefix to make sure they stick to the top for ease of reference. (I won't spoil who it is, and if you prefer to keep it unspoiled, don't click the link until you're sure you're ready.)

Anyways, I am still recovering from so much stupid crap it sounds made up, but I'm getting pretty close, I hope. I'll have the intro to a big new commission piece in the Loserverse out later this week, I hope, and maybe some more Toy's Toy to check in on how Brian is coping with the obliteration of his entire spiritual and social life. Teehee! More to come.

He's just a well-meaning goofball, you know? He's got no business being at the center of some pheromone-drenched collegiate harem conspiracy, but that's what makes this story so hilariously sweet. There's an amiable meander to these two chapters, powered almost entirely by Spencer's inability to cross a room without getting a boner, and any room's inability to not have at least one woman in it who wants to take care of that boner for him. If Spencer were more focused, or less easily distracted, I don't think we'd be onto a second book. This was, as expected, totally worth the wait - in every sense of the expression. I'm in no particular hurry to see Spencer get to the heart of this mystery, and you have not lost a step in the intervening month of travails. Stay healthy, enjoy the holidays, and keep up the great work. Welcome back.

Watching Spencer attempt to put together a mass of clues isn't something I asked for as a Christmas gift, but it definitely feels like one.
