Love Next Door Ep. 10 Reaction [FULL]

Comments

If you ever want a drama that will make you cry even more, watch Tomorrow! The actor that plays Kang Dan ho (the journalist) is in it and he has one of the saddest stories I’ve ever watched. He had me sobbing and depressed for two episodes straight 😭😂

100% agree, all their feelings were valid. Nothing is black and white in reality, and that’s what I love about this kdrama is that it tackles these themes and gives us storyline that are relatable to our lives. Like for examples The exes - Both seungho and seokryu’s were actual good people. Not all exes need to be red flags in a kdrama in order for the leads to get together. Seokryu’s cancer - she was always put on a pedestal by her parents that she didn’t want them to worry about her when she got sick. I know parents feel so much pain seeing their children hurt but I feel like there’s not much talk about how children feel so much hurt too, to see their parents feel hurt because of them. I could ramble forever about this show, because that’s just how good it is. Awesome review/reaction 🤩

Yeah, I agree with some of the comments. Both of their exes are not toxic. Not the usual ex in Kdrama or any other drama in particular. They were genuinely in loved with each other but sometimes that love isn't enough to make you two stay together. Sometimes, the best thing you could do for the one that you love and for yourself is to set them free. Accepted the fact they were destined to meet but not to be together for the rest of their lives.

bruh, I was just like you when I watched the episodes 9 and 10. I was bawling my eyes in bed with tissues.

I think it's called mouth of the cave because it's going from deep in the cave as a bear to the entrance towards the light/sun.

One of my favorite things about this show is that both Seong-hyo and Seok-ryu's exes were relatively good (albeit flawed but our leads also have their flaws) people. It's such a common trope where the exes of the leads are terrible people, so it's refreshing to see a show where they are not, because IRL relationships aren't black and white. I started watching this show as a fun palate cleanser after Queen of Tears but here it is making me cry just as much lol

I better put 2 spoons in the fridge. Watch the episode cry, watch your reaction cry and all at the same times too. I think QOT got me more but this episode was close.

Amazing reaction, and great insights. From what I have seen throughout your reactions and comments, whether on your own time or through a video, you may enjoy the kdrama Daily Dose of Sunshine. It's a show very few people have reacted to as the subject is mental health, along with the complexity of human emotions and connections. Your approach to sensitive topics in shows is quite gently and caring, which I think would match well with this kdrama.
