2025-03-14 17:08:08 +0000 UTCThe Anime actually changed the order of how things happend, because I guess this gives it a better conclusion. Since the Manga isn't going much further than what we've seen here, and then it just ends pretty aburtly. Like in the Manga they went to Saya's parents place before Takashi and Saeko got split up from the others and they ended up in the Shrine. So when they get saved by Saya's mother, all of them get saved by her and go to Saya's parents place. So when they escape from Saya's parents place, they don't get a military hummer but the amphibious car. But yeah, it's kinda sad that this never got continued, I guess the Writer had reasons... maybe health related. But yeah... still sad. Overall I think it's a very good Anime, very unique since there aren't many Zombie animes like this. The Story and Characters are pretty believable, I also don't think the Story has to be Amazing or anything. I mean, which Zombie Story is amazing? It's more about the Characters and other aspects than the Story. And I think the Fanservice is just pretty solid. Also for a Anime from 2010 the Animation and Quality is just Top Notch. But it makes sense, since "Araki, Tetsurou" worked on it and really put his effort into it. Since he was "Director, Episode Director, Storyboard, Key Animation" for it. He also worked on AoT, as far as I know he is pretty much part of why the Fight scenes in AoT are so good. Like for example Levi's iconic moment.

2025-03-14 15:38:55 +0000 UTCYeah, it started in 2006, the Manga first went on Hiatus in 2008 to 2010, because he got sick, I think. After that, one volume came out in 2011 and one in 2013... after that nothing happened anymore and he died in 2017.
