I was hoping the whole episode to see Our trainer perform. He is gonna blow the kids away next episode and rioh is gonna see him as someone to aspire to. This is hopefully gonna fix his attitude somewhat and gonna make him more open towards other children.

Honestly, I can't hate Rioh, he's a kid with a LOT on his shoulders, and his own inferiority complex, so I can't blame him that much, because with how much pressure he must be feeling, it's honestly expected that a kid would lash out. I love how he opened up to Tsukasa like that, especially because I imagine he's not some who cries or gets teary-eyed a lot. So that definitely means a lot. Deep down, he seems like a good kid who loves skating. I'm excited to see Tsukasa skate to Rioh's song. Every time we've seen him on the ice so far, I've enjoyed watching him skate. I also love when he does skate, simply because it's show people that he is talented, and is a professional, in his own right. I think for me, I never thought one way or another on if it would be a good anime, with Engi at the helm. Because I have a very high tolerance for questionable animation, and can pretty easily overlook it if the story interests me. And luckily, this anime has good animation, and an incredible story. Great reaction!
