You made a comment around the 1 hr mark about the subtitles translation about "hyung" and I completely agree! The NETFLIX subtitles team need to step their game up with these translations. There have been a number of times where I feel like a "moment" was stolen from me by poor subtitles from Netflix. It happened to me in at least 3 k-drama shows i watched on Netflix. I do surely appreciate the subtitles teams from other streaming services who include "localization and/or context translations". Netflix has been enjoying the benefits of the Korean wave in global entertainment for years now. They really should improve their subtitling team ASAP!

2025-04-19 03:29:06 +0000 UTCI think they mistranslated the term here and used UF which probably stands for ultimate favourite but in English the term is mostly used as ultimate bias in kpop (the idol/member that's your number one out of all of them lol)

Son Ye-Jin was 37 at the time this was filmed and she looks much younger in it while portraying an adult relationship. She even makes crying look good and was known to be one of the prettiest cryers in Kdramas. Love your reactions to this.

It feels like she's turned him into an ideal without actually knowing him and wouldn't ultimately be happy if they were forced to marry. She'd always be trying too hard and he'd always never try enough
