2025-05-01 23:02:46 +0000 UTCTWGOK had a bit of a strange adaption, the first 2 seasons were extremely faithful to the manga, but there was a lot of cut content after that. The content cut between season 2 and 3 is pretty mid, and all of the important stuff got put into the OVAs. I have no problem with that. The Goddess arc was easily the best arc of the series, but there was also an arc after the Goddess arc which tied up a lot of loose ends and explained why everything happened as it did. The studio working on the anime adaption was shutting down, so when they worked on season 3, they decided to just cover the best arc. If there was anything I would have liked to see, it would be that final arc animated. There was enough content for another full season.
