the best part of these episodes is the individual Zodiacs that are still connected to Akito are finally reaching their breaking points. and as cathartic as it would have been had Haru turned Akito's face into minced meat... in terms of breaking the curse and his longterm freedom it wasn't the right move - it was when he walked away and washed his hands of Akito... and then in outright defiance of Akito went to Rin and rescued her that his bond began to fray.
