Oh maybe you didn’t remember what happened at the restaurant in episode 3, it turned out that his ex-wife brought a man with him to take their son out to eat. Then their son got a severe allergic reaction so he called the restaurant and found out about the man.

Why would IK-Jun lie about what happened with his ex-wife? It’s a given already, no need to overthink everything. By this time we should know better about the main characters. No disrespect but it’s just common sense sometimes

- I ended up separating my comment to make it easier to read because that shit was way too long (sorry) XD - Only my second comment is regarding the episode. The first was to answer Joe's question in more details than he could have ever expected XD (again sorry). And this is just me blowing off steam because of that bitch resident. She is by far my most hated character in the show because she brings me back a lot of bad memories. I might go off on her in some future episode >.> Regarding Minha's call, or when she was contemplating whether to call him or not. I am 99% sure it was to tell him about that bitch. She didn't so we will never know. But I am sure that's what she wanted to say because everyone in the medical field knows a coworker like that. Unfortunately for me, I worked with 2 nurses like that (I am a nurse). For nurses, one nurse is responsible for a group of patients. So you can only dump work on the next shift's nurse, but that shit won't always fly especially if the person keeps doing it. I have heard a lot of similar stories from residents. I've also witnessed a lot of said stories and experienced some. It's worse when residents slack off because they rotate departments so there isn't always the same attending to report to. What makes things worse is that there are many residents working on the same patient or group of patients. So it's easier for one to slack off. Where I worked, 3 to 5 1st year residents would work with 2-3 2nd year residents and 1 senior resident/chief resident. And these are for each shift. So without other residents "snitching" neither the senior nor the attending knows about someone slacking. A senior can be the one slacking but not where I work because the slackers are usually "recommended to continue elsewhere". Also, most new residents don't know this, but senior residents and attendings ask nurses (certain ones at least) about "how easy it is to work with someone" which is code for "is this resident doing his job well or are you pulling your hair apart because of their slacking off or incompetence?". I have worked with hundreds of new residents and there were a lot that "weren't easy to work with". Fortunately only 3 were bad enough that I had to put on blast. I don't care about arrogant residents looking down on nurses or ones that are not very good but are at least trying. I care about sons of bitches who know nothing or are slacking off but refuse my advise because they don't wanna show their seniors that they know nothing or because they don't want to come to the floor because it "isn't serious". Let me tell you that the attending wasn't happy (with them) when I was forced to call him at 2:30 am after the resident on call turned off his phone/blocked me, and guess what, it was serious. The patient's drain was clogged and stopped draining. And because it wasn't checked on by the resident when I called and flushed properly, it had to be replaced. "The patient isn't moving much while sleeping so the drainage is slower" was not something the attending expected me to say when asked why the resident didn't think the issue was serious. Thankfully, nothing more happened to the patient since it was discovered quickly. And as a bonus, residents knew not fuck around when handling my patients because I know them better than most of the residents, and I will not sit on my ass doing nothing even if it means calling an attending in the middle of the night.
