While I do hope you finish season 2 of Loser Ranger I still can't ignore just how much of a mess this adaptation become. The amount of content they're skipping is honestly getting ridiculous. I can understand to a certain point why it would be important to trim certain scenes to prevent things from getting stale, but only the parts that don't impede on character development and information that's actually important. This adaptation cuts so much essential content that I don’t even know where to begin; the best I can do is highly suggest that you read some parts of the manga starting from the Monster society arc, to at least get an idea of what's missing. At the pace it’s going, it feels like they’re trying to cram the end of the arc into a single episode—and I genuinely can’t see how they could do that without cutting massive amounts of crucial plot points. It would have made more sense to at least split things up into two cours. Even with all that said, I still hope you—or anyone else—won’t give up on the series entirely. I’m genuinely interested in seeing how people react to where the story goes, but it’s frustrating how few reaction videos there are. And as you know the original manga is still out there, and it’s so much better written with proper pacing. Part of me really wishes you could react to the manga after finishing Season 2, just to see firsthand everything the anime left out… but I get that not everyone has the time or interest to dive into it that way. Of course it's up to you =|

2025-06-25 15:15:35 +0000 UTCKinda surprised that you're actually gonna finish the season of Go Go Loser Ranger. That said, I recently realised why the pacing is so weird. First season adapted from chapter 1 up to roughly the first half of chapter 51 of the manga. That's about 4 chapters an episode. Second season's first arc (school / introduction to green squad) adapted the second half of chapter 51 up until chapter 71 and took 5 episodes to do so - once again aronud 4 chapters per episode. The rest of the second season (7 episodes) starts at chapter 72 and will most likely end at roughly chapter 125. That's almost 8 manga chapters per episode. Makes sense why it feels rushed, confusing and disjointed in the second half of season 2.
