This is one of the best drama I have ever watched in terms of the storytelling, the cast, the music, everything. One thing I’m not sure whether you knew was that the actors learned their instruments a few months beforehand to play in this drama. Some of them knew a bit, some started fresh. There are behind the scene videos on YouTube showing how each of them practices individually and later assembled together to practice each songs portrayed in each episode one by one. So in addition to the filming, they also took the time to practice the songs and record them in the studio. Being in a medical drama, of course the actors have to put extra effort just to remember their lines but on top of that, they learned the instruments, played and sang the songs by themselves and even held a concert later down the line. Of course, the director and screenwriter duo is already popular for their previous works but this cast has a strong place in my heart for their dedication towards their work and how they actually become friends after the show. They even have a variety show where they go camping together and it was also fun to watch. Most of the soundtracks in this drama were covers of Korean songs from the 90s and 2000s and have dedicated OST singers for each track, but there was one song sung by Jeon Mido (Song-hwa actor), one by Jo Jungseok (Ik-jun actor) and the song in this episode was sung by the five actors in the official OST as well. Their group is called “Mido and Falasol” as in “Songhwa and the boys” word-played by do-re-mi-fa-so-la. This is one awesome group of actors that I have ever seen in my life. Thank you so much for the reaction. I really enjoyed it, and I am looking forward to watch the second season together with you.
