• The hospital director Joo(cousin of Joo Jong-su)'s name is 'Joo Jeon(주전)'. So, his nickname is 'kettle', which sounds like 'Joo Jeon Ja(주전자)' in Korean. Jong Su and the violinist's mom(Joo Jeon's friend) call him 'Mr.kettle' to make fun of him. 😂
• There are short scenes where Song-hwa explains her surgery to Jeong-won in her office, and later, Jun-wan walks past her in the hallway and explains his own surgery to her.
These moments subtly highlight that even though they’re all doctors, their specialties are clearly separated!
And the more experienced they are in their own field, the more they respect each other’s expertise. It’s a quiet but powerful nod to professional boundaries and mutual respect among specialists.
• Whenever Jun-wan questions medical student Jang Hong-do, it’s definitely partly because he wants to teach,
but also because he knows that by asking little things about CS, Hong-do will naturally start studying cardiothoracic surgery more on his own.
He’s planting seeds, trying to recruit him into CS. 😏
• At the end, when the grieving mother gifts flowers and message card to Dr. Yang Seok-hyung,
He says like, “We’re not supposed to accept this…”
That’s not because flowers are expensive. Organic items like flowers and plants are not allowed in the hospital due to hygiene concerns.
But, Seok-hyung takes the basket, because he cares and concerns his patients more than those rules! 😂(BTW, the subtitle was little unaccurate in that scene, because his attitude was like 'I'm gonna take it anyway, no matter who blames me', but the sub was like 'okay, okay, I'll take it, don't be mad')

- I just remembered why I love the songs in this season more. The others sing more in this one and get solo parts. I love Ik Jun the most and I love his voice a lot, but I like listening to the others especially Seok Hyeong.
- People underestimate how heavy a head is. A 15 pound head on a 200 pound person is 7.5% which is slightly below the average of 8.2%. Head size can go up to 12% in a normal person. A big head would be 25+ pounds in this scenario XD
- Regarding flowers, I don't know if it's the same here, but in the hospital I work at, flowers are not allowed because the hospital would become a flower shop. There are multiple patients under each doctor. Getting flowers all the time would get out of hand quickly. Also, they can get messy (leaves/petals falling) and have a strong smell (which gets worse after they wilt).
This was the reason at my hospital. Other reasons I can think of are pollen allergies for other patients indirectly and their cost. I don't know how expensive flowers are in Korea. But even if they are cheap, there are people who will 100% get big ass baskets that are definitely too expensive.
