Eve’s sin is generally seen as gaining knowledge of good and evil from eating fruit from the tree of knowledge. Maybe Takopi’s original sin is loss of innocence by realizing that evil exists on earth and it makes happiness impossible in some cases.

2025-07-08 17:00:14 +0000 UTCughhh so many emotions running through me because of this show. it’s so disturbing and depressing and yet that’s what makes it so good. takopi’s inability to understand evil is actually terrifying. especially with the end of this episode. i don’t even know what to say. the way this show evokes such strong negative emotions is just unreal.
