2025-08-02 05:19:00 +0000 UTCI don't recommend you look it up (due to spoilers), but the Rice Shower story is very accurate to the real life horse, even using the wrestling "heel" and "Babyface" terms irl. In real life, after Rice beat Bourbon, the media characterized "him" as a heel supervillain that takes away the dreams of heroes. Ultimately though, fans rallied behind Rice because they just saw it as him overcoming the odds as a plucky underdog and conquerer spoiler, to the point where he became a Babyface and won many popularity contests with merch. (This isn't spoilers because I'm just taking about what was adapted so far in this set of episodes)
