It is usually used in a sexual way so that person doesn't have a very active night life lol. So in contrast to that, someone who wins at night is like someone who is active at night (in this case sleeping with someone). So the queen was scared because in history books, this king loves alcohol and women. But, she soon realizes all this guy does is sleep so he "withdraws" at night. Just thought this would make it easier to understand haha Also you are right. The queen is lowkey a fourth party. Although she is part of the Andong Kims (The great queen dowager side), she is still a guy from the future so basically is not loyal to anyone or anything. But, she is good at looking at how power moves (in the sense that she can see who is the most powerful in the room). So, for her own safety, she stands with whoever is the most powerful to survive (not because of loyalty haha) which is currently the Andong Kims. just to break it down the parties at play: Andong Kim: - The great queen dowager - Jwa Geun (the scary guy and the real leader with power; great queen dowager's brother) - Byeong-in (Step son of Jwa Geun; he loves the queen but technically they are family but don't share blood since he is the step son) - the queen (although like i said, right now, she is just another party at this point). Pungyang Jo: The queen dowager, jo hwa jin The king is part of the Lee dynasty (the ruling family during the Joseon era).
