There are 50- to over 100-episode dramas that air daily in the morning in Korea. They are sort of like the afternoon soap operas in the US (General Hospital, The Young & the Restless, etc.). Since they are longer, the production value is usually a bit lower.

About "effective value", Eun Tak was throwing the words back at him since he was the one who told her in the first episode that she didn't have any effective value to him (because she couldn't "see" the sword). She has carried that grudge/hurt since that encounter. So now, she's like a little kid rejoicing that she now has "effective value" to him. Eun Tak is someone who's had to fight to be acknowledged. It's her against the world. So for the Goblin to tell her now that she has a purpose, a place in this world, makes her really happy.

2:16 - About “effective value” - a closer Korean translation would be “utility value,” an economic term that’s supposed to sound a bit odd for Korean viewers as well. But the word choice is purposeful because she’s basically asking, “Am I useful to you now that I can see the sword?” and framing their relationship more like a transaction, an arrangement for both of their benefits, rather than typical love-based relationship.
47:44 - In Korean folklore, goblins hide in plain sight as brooms, and that’s why the show keeps referring to him turning into a broom. Also, goblins also got these funky clubs that make gold when they swing them, which is why Deok-hwa and Eun-tak keep asking for gold/money, since it's an easy trick for goblins.
51:00 - “Morning dramas” are daytime soap operas. They’re usually packed with juicy k-drama clichés like family secrets and shocking identity reveals (like this scene).
